Hit .282 with three home runs and 35 RBI in 68 games in his professional debut with the A’s affiliate in the Arizona Rookie League and Short Season Single-A Vermont…began the year in the AZL and was transferred to Vermont on June 30…tied for third in the New York-Penn League in doubles (19), tied for fourth in extra base hits (25) and ranked fifth in slugging (.431)…was named to NYPL Midseason All-Star team and went 1-for-2 in a start in center field for the North in the NYPL All-Star Game…made 21 starts in center field, 18 in right field, 14 in left field and seven at first base…went 1-for-4 with a triple in his debut June 22 against the Giants…hit his first professional home run July 28 at State College, a fifth inning grand slam.
