His contract was selected from Charlotte on 8/21…at the time of his promotion, was tied for the Knights' lead with 17 home runs and ranked second with 63 RBI and 156 total bases... Made his MLB debut as a pinch-hitter on 8/26 vs. Arizona…made his first start at catcher on 8/27 vs. the Diamondbacks...singled off Merrill Kelly in the second inning for his first hit...Was optioned to the Knights on 8/31 and recalled on 9/27... Ranked among Charlotte's leaders in home runs (second, 21), RBI (second, 76), total bases (T2nd, 188) and hits (fifth, 106)...Hit two homers on 5/3 at Gwinnett and 7/23 at Jacksonville...Played in 59 games with Margarita in the Venezuelan Winter League, batting .287/.363/.410 (56-195) with five homers and 39 RBI.

Batted .263 (30-114) with three doubles, one triple and eight RBI in 27 games with Advanced Rookie Great Falls...Threw out 30.9 percent (13-42) of attempted baserunners...Posted a seven-game hitting streak from 7/25-8/15 (.448, 13-29).

Combined to hit .198 (23-116) with four doubles, one home run and 14 RBI between the Arizona Rookie League White Sox, Great Falls and Kannapolis...Threw out 29.5 percent (13-44) of attempted baserunners...Started the season with Kannapolis and played two games...was transferred to the AZL White Sox on 6/2...Recorded a four-game hitting streak from 6/26-7/3 with the AZL White Sox...collected a season-high three RBI on 7/3...Was transferred to Great Falls on 7/14...Was the starting catcher in one postseason game with Great Falls, going 0-3.
