Peter Joseph Strzelecki (pronounced STREZ-lecky)..Wife's name is Gabriela...Is a 2013 graduate of Santaluces High School in Lantana, Fla. (south of West Palm), where he played basketball and football in addition to baseball...Graduated from the University of South Florida in 2018 with degrees in criminal justice and communications...Also played one season of baseball at Palm Beach State College...His younger brother, Joe, pitched in the Marlins organization in 2018...Collaborated with two boyhood friends, Ben Fargan and Dalton Scragg, to produce a line of apparel featuring his mantra, "ComPETE," with the goal of raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Went to Spring Training with Arizona...Was designated for assignment on 3/25 before being traded to Cleveland for cash considerations on 3/28...Began the season with Columbus (Guardians' AAA), where he ranked second on the staff in saves and first in games finished...Made one scoreless appearance (1.0ip) before being recalled by Cleveland the first of five times on 4/6...Tossed a scoreless frame in his debut with the Guardians on 4/9 vs. Chicago (AL)…Was scored upon just once in his first eight games with Cleveland thru 7/27 (10.1ip/1er)…Made his final big league appearance on 8/12.

Appeared in 10 games with Arizona, going 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA (zero ER in 10.1 IP), a 1.06 WHIP and .189 opponent average. Acquired from the Brewers for LHP Andrew Chafin at the trade deadline on Aug. 1. Recalled from Triple-A Reno on Aug. 19 … optioned on Aug. 20 … recalled on Oct. 2.

Went 2-1 with a 2.83 ERA and one save in 30 relief appearances with Milwaukee... Had four stints (5/30-6/2, 6/11-6/24, 7/27-8/2 and 8/13-end of season)...
