Spent the season rehabbing and recovering from a fractured left fibula...Was eventually recalled on Sept. 24, 2024...Homered in his first at-bat...Also doubled...Hit .311 with 11 doubles, three home runs, 14 RBI, 15 walks and 20 runs in final 41 games with Triple-A Rochester.

2023

Power-hitting outfielder enjoyed a productive season playing in 89 games before suffering a fractured left fibula that ended his season on Aug. 23...Washington went 31-27 in his 58 starts...The Nationals were 16-3 in his final 19 starts, including winning 11 in a row from July 17 to Aug. 13...Hit .262 with 15 doubles, eight homers, 36 RBI, 34 runs and one stolen base as a starter...Hit .321 with two doubles, a homer, four RBI, six runs and two stolen bases off the bench...Recorded a career-high four hits (2 2B, HR) and a career-high five RBI, on April 8 at Colorado...Went 6-for-10 (.600) in the four-game series in Colorado....Recorded first career multi-HR game, Aug. 16 vs. Boston...Hit first career grand slam June 6 vs. Arizona off his best friend, Tommy Henry...Hit second career grand slam on July 2 at Philadelphia...Is the seventh National with two grand slams in a season.

Made his Major League debut on Aug. 17 vs. San Francisco and recorded first MLB hit (double off Rodon)…Recorded hits in four of his first five at bats, including three doubles...Hit safely in 10 of his first 12 games (16-for-39, 4 2B, 3 HR, 7 RBI, 3 BB, 3 SB)...Hit his first Major League home run on Aug. 28 at White Sox (Cease)…Ranked among all Minor Leaguers in RBI (T2nd, 96), home runs (T4th, 28), extra-base hits (T6th, 54) and total bases (10th, 221) at the time of his promotion...Finished the season ranked in Arizona’s system in home runs (2nd, 28), extra-base hits (2nd, 54), slugging percentage (2nd, .568), RBI (3rd, 95), OPS (6th, .900) despite playing only 103 Minor League games.

Hit .277 with 19 doubles, one triple, 25 homers, 81 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 65 runs scored in 105 games between Double-A and Triple-A.
