Phillies host Carpenter Cup Baseball and Softball tournaments presented by Nike
Throughout the month of June, top high school all-star athletes were given the chance to play in front of major league and college scouts as part of the Phillies Carpenter Cup Baseball and Softball tournaments presented by Nike.
As part of the 39th annual 15-game baseball tournament, the top teams played their semi-final and championship games at Citizens Bank Park. Burlington County defeated Chester County, 4-0, to secure their first championship win since 2019.
The 20th annual Softball Carpenter Cup, held at the Phillies MLB Urban Youth Academy Softball Fields at FDR Park, ended with a 3-2 Tri-Cape win over Delaware South, their first since 2023.
Congratulations to Tri-Cape, Burlington County and all other participating teams for competing in these great tournaments.
