Phillies and Best Buddies hold Wiffle Ball Party at Citizens Bank Park

Earlier today, the Phillies and Best Buddies teamed up to bring a day full of excitement to members of the organization’s Wiffle Ball Club. Phillies volunteers paired up with Best Buddies guests and participated in a full slate of Phillies activities, including Wiffle Ball batting practice, speed pitch, launching foam hot dogs and more.

Some special guests stopped by to help bring the fun, including Phillies ambassadors Mickey Morandini, Milt Thompson, Dickie Noles and Scott Palmer, the Phillies Ballgirls and, of course, the Phillie Phanatic!

Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that created opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
