TORONTO -- Memo to the Yankees’ Old-Timers: Pack your gloves and cleats!

A traditional alumni baseball game will once again be part of the festivities when the Yankees host the 77th Old-Timers’ Day on Aug. 9 at Yankee Stadium. The event will also commemorate the 25th anniversary of the club’s 2000 World Series championship.

Among those scheduled to attend are Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera and Joe Torre, along with a group of first-time Old-Timers, including Roger Clemens, 2000 ALCS MVP David Justice, Alfonso Soriano and Jose Vizcaino.

The roster also features numerous additional Monument Park inductees: Ron Guidry, Paul O’Neill, Tino Martinez, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Willie Randolph and Bernie Williams.

Clay Bellinger, the father of current Yankee Cody Bellinger, is also set to participate.

This marks the first time since 2019 the traditional Old-Timers’ Day game -- which usually spans two or three innings -- will be played.

After a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Old-Timers’ Day was reimagined in 2022 with a question-and-answer format. A softball game was considered before the Yankees announced a return to the traditional hardball exhibition.

Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12 p.m. ET for the Old-Timers’ introductions, which will be read by Michael Kay. The Old-Timers’ Day baseball game will immediately follow.

Here is a roster of expected attendees, as announced by the Yankees (subject to change):

Jesse Barfield, Clay Bellinger, Aaron Boone, Homer Bush, Chris Chambliss, Roger Clemens, David Cone, Johnny Damon, Bucky Dent, Brian Doyle, John Flaherty, Dwight Gooden, Ron Guidry, Orlando Hernandez, David Justice, Jill Martin (widow of Billy Martin), Tino Martinez, Lee Mazzilli, Ramiro Mendoza, Gene Monahan, Diana Munson (widow of Thurman Munson), Kay Murcer (widow of Bobby Murcer), Graig Nettles, Paul O’Neill, Andy Pettitte, Lou Piniella, Jorge Posada, Willie Randolph, Mariano Rivera, Mickey Rivers, Luis Sojo, Alfonso Soriano, Shane Spencer, Mike Stanton, Joe Torre, Jose Vizcaino, Roy White and Bernie Williams.
