Wednesday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Carolina Mudcats (MIL) @ Augusta GreenJackets (ATL)
GreenJackets left-hander Cam Caminiti (ATL No. 1/MLB No. 54), the 24th overall pick in the 2024 Draft, was slowed due to injury earlier this year but is quietly putting together a nice full pro debut. The 18-year-old sports a 2.73 ERA through seven starts at Single-A. His next comes against a dangerous Mudcats lineup led by ascendant infielder Jesús Made (MIL No. 1/MLB No. 7), who ranks in the top five in the Carolina League in hits (85) and average (.279).
Thursday, 12:05 p.m. ET -- Memphis Redbirds (STL) @ Norfolk Tides (BAL)
Cardinals top prospect JJ Wetherholt (MLB No. 16) on the bases. Orioles top prospect Samuel Basallo (MLB No. 9) behind the dish. That's a matchup we all want to see. The shortstop and catcher are also two of the top young hitters in the International League. Wetherholt has an OPS of 1.153 over 11 games while Basallo stands tied for second on the Triple-A circuit in homers with 20.
Thursday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Great Lakes Loons (LAD) @ Fort Wayne TinCaps (SD)
Catching a Loons game is a great way to check in with Futures Game MVP Josue De Paula (LAD No. 1/MLB No. 21), who has paired 10 homers with 28 steals this season for High-A Great Lakes. The TinCaps have their own five-tool threat, though, in wise-beyond-his-years shortstop Leo De Vries (SD No. 1/MLB No. 3), a switch-hitter who can do damage from either side of the dish.
Friday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Columbus Clippers (CLE) @ Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (MIA)
A year after he was sent from San Diego to Miami as a big part of a major deadline deal, Robby Snelling looks right at home (MIA No. 2/MLB No. 72) at home in Miami's organization, running a 3.38 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 88 innings this season across two levels. His latest test will be facing a Triple-A Clippers lineup anchored by smooth-swinging C.J. Kayfus (CLE No. 4/MLB No. 66), who entered play this week with a .940 OPS.
Saturday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Biloxi Shuckers (MIL) @ Pensacola Blue Wahoos (MIA)
What can Thomas White (MIA No. 1/MLB No. 22) possibly do for an encore? Maybe not, after striking out 14 batters in only five innings in a historic outing for Double-Pensacola in his last start. Star shortstop Cooper Pratt (MIL No. 3/MLB No. 37), who stands tied for sixth in the league in runs (51) and Biloxi are going to find out -- and look to have something to say about it.
Sunday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Wichita Wind Surge (MIN) @ Amarillo Sod Poodles (AZ)
The ball might be flying in Amarillo with sluggers like the Wind Surge outfielder Walker Jenkins (MIN No. 1/MLB No. 12) and Sod Poodles outfielder Ryan Waldschmidt (AZ No. 3/MLB No. 75) set to line up in this week's finale. Both 2021 early Draft picks are looking to rediscover their power stride, Jenkins after missing time due to injury, Waldschmidt after reaching Double-A in late June.
