Lovers of the long ball had a lot to feast upon in Thursday's Minor League action. Angels 2024 first-rounder Christian Moore continued his torrid start at Triple-A while a pair of catchers -- the O's Samuel Basallo and the Kyle Teel of the White Sox -- both cleared the fences multiple times. The Tigers' Max Clark launched his second career grand slam. But even the Top 100 prospects had to cede some of the spotlight to A's prospect Brennan Milone, who became the second Minor Leaguer in as many days to homer three times in a game.

Max Clark, OF, West Michigan (DET No. 1/MLB No. 7)
Clark snapped out of a mini 2-for-15 slide with his second grand slam as a pro in the second game of High-A West Michigan's doubleheader. The 20-year-old also walked twice and continued to be a strong presence atop the Whitecaps lineup, slashing .293/.435/.439 with a Midwest League-best 33 walks in 35 games. Gameday
Samuel Basallo, C/1B, Norfolk (BAL No. 1/MLB No. 16)
Basallo's power-packed May was boosted by another multihomer outing, his second in seven games for Triple-A Norfolk. The 20-year-old backstop, who also doubled and drove in three runs, has slugged six of his nine long balls in 55 at-bats this month. Basallo has a .990 OPS, 14 extra-base hits and 19 RBIs in 27 games. Gameday
Kyle Teel, C, Charlotte (CWS No. 2/MLB No. 28)
Teel's month-long hot stretch continued with three more hits, including two homers and three RBIs. The Virginia product's big night extended his hitting streak to 18 games dating back to April 26, and he's slashed .358/.442/.537 with six extra-base hits and 13 RBIs over that period. Teel is enjoying a strong debut season in the White Sox organization, batting .284 with a .835 OPS, six homers and 24 RBIs for Triple-A Charlotte. Gameday
Christian Moore, 2B, Salt Lake (LAA No. 1/MLB No. 60)
Moore's scorching start to his Triple-A tenure got even hotter with his best performance of the season. The eighth overall pick in last year's Draft slugged his first homer for Salt Lake, drove in three runs, scored three times and swiped a pair of bases while falling a triple shy of the cycle. Moore is 8-for-13 (.615) with five RBIs in his first three games for the Bees. Full story | Gameday
Arjun Nimmala, SS, Vancouver (TOR No. 1/MLB No. 59)
Nimmala made a bid for a cycle for the second time in three games, this time falling a triple shy in his latest strong performance for High-A Vancouver. The Tampa native moved back into a tie with Everett's Lazaro Montes (SEA No. 2/MLB No. 36) for the Northwest League lead with nine homers and is slashing .291/.367/.568 with 22 extra-base hits and 24 RBIs. Gameday
Franklin Arias, SS/2B, Greenville (BOS No. 3/MLB No. 57)
Arias got off to a hot start at Single-A and hasn't slowed down since earning a promotion to High-A Greenville. The 19-year-old raced for his first triple of the season and equaled his career high with four hits to boost his slash line to .348/.405/.456 in 38 games. Signed as an international free agent in 2023, the native of Venezuela has hit safely in 16 of 17 games in May and is batting .389 with eight extra-base hits and 17 RBIs. Gameday
Sal Stewart, 3B/2B, Chattanooga (CIN No. 3/MLB No. 70)
Stewart has been one of the Minors' most consistent hitters through the first seven weeks of the season. The Miami native collected his 14th double while matching a personal best with four hits and hiking his Double-A Southern League-leading average to .344. Stewart has been especially hot of late, going 15-for-30 (.500) with three doubles, a homer and six RBIs in his past seven games for Chattanooga. Gameday
Noble Meyer, RHP, Beloit (MIA No. 5/MLB No. 98)
What has been a frustrating season for Meyer took a positive turn after the righty delivered his best start of 2025. The 10th overall pick of the 2023 Draft struck out a season-high six while allowing a pair of singles and a walk over four scoreless innings for High-A Beloit. Despite his struggles, Meyer is still averaging more than a strikeout per inning, fanning 28 in 23 2/3 frames. Gameday
Griffin Herring, LHP, Tampa (NYY No. 25)
Already one of the top first-year hurlers, Herring dialed things up in his latest outing for Single-A Tampa. The Louisiana State product struck out 10 and spun six hitless frames to lower his ERA to 1.21 and his WHIP to 0.90. Opponents are batting .155 against the 22-year-old, who hasn't surrendered more than a run in six of his eight appearances and sports a 58-to-16 K/BB ratio across 44 2/3 innings. Gameday
Brennan Milone, 1B, Midland (ATH No. 23)
It took Milone 22 games to hit his first three long balls of the year for Double-A Midland. It took the 24-year-old four at-bats to equal that mark in the first multihomer game of his pro career. Milone clubbed a trio of solo homers to continue what has been a productive month. The A's sixth-round pick out of Oregon in 2022 is slashing .314/.402/.600 with 10 extra-base hits, five jacks and 16 RBIs in May. Gameday
