Here are Friday's top prospect performances from the Minors

The holiday weekend kicked off with barbecues, fireworks and plenty of action around the Minors. Top 100 talent Bubba Chandler (Pirates), Walker Jenkins (Twins) and more lived up their lofty billing as baseball's brightest up-and-comers. However, they weren't alone in showing off on our nation's birthday, which was highlighted by the Minors' first non-complex nine-inning perfect game in nearly a decade!

Bubba Chandler, RHP, Indianapolis (PIT No. 1/MLB No. 5)
Chandler put a rough June behind him with his best start since May 30. The 22-year-old struck out six over six scoreless innings and generated 14 whiffs on 39 pitches for Triple-A Indianapolis. Chandler entered June with a 2.03 ERA in 11 starts but then struggled, allowing 12 earned runs in 12 2/3 innings across five outings. The Georgia native has a 3.07 ERA and a 86-to-35 K/BB ratio in 67 1/3 innings this year. Gameday

Kevin McGonigle, SS, West Michigan (DET No. 1/MLB No. 7)
McGonigle shook off rare consecutive 0-fers in a big way, racking up a double among his three hits and driving in three runs. The Pennsylvania native scored twice and swiped his second base of 2025. McGonigle has reached safely in 31 of his 35 games for High-A West Michigan and is slashing .373/.461/.655 with 26 extra-base hits, 39 RBIs and 37 runs scored. Gameday

Max Clark, OF, West Michigan (DET No. 2/MLB No. 12)
Clark punctuated his second straight three-hit game with four RBIs, equaling a season high. The 20-year-old has hit safely in 10 of his past 11 games, going 20-for-47 (.426) with 12 runs scored and nine RBIs in that span. The hot streak has lifted Clark's average to .284, the highest it's been since May 24 (.290). The third overall pick in the 2023 Draft has an .853 OPS and is two homers shy of matching the career-high nine he hit last year. Gameday

Walker Jenkins, OF, Wichita (MIN No. 1/MLB No. 15)
Jenkins put together his best all-around performance of 2025, reaching base five times and equaling a season high with four RBIs to pace Double-A Wichita's 14-run outburst. The North Carolina native slugged his second long ball for the Wind Surge, singled, walked three times and scored twice. Jenkins is slashing .294/.455/.471 with eight RBIs in 14 contests since he returned from a nine-game rehab assignment. Full story | Gameday

Charlie Condon, 1B/OF, Hartford (COL No. 1/MLB No. 23)
Condon's strong opening week at Double-A continued with a pair of doubles that produced all four of Hartford's runs. The Georgia product and third overall pick in the 2024 Draft kicked off the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning against fellow Top 100 prospect Jonah Tong before adding a second two-RBI knock in the eighth. Condon is 4-for-12 with five RBIs in his first four Double-A games. Gameday

Jonah Tong, RHP, Binghamton (NYM No. 2/MLB No. 59)
Tong started off shakily, walking two and surrendering a two-run double in the opening frame but rebounded with his fifth double-digit K performance of the season. The reigning Double-A Eastern League Pitcher of the Month for May and June set down 13 of the final 15 batters he faced, striking out 10 -- including five straight to end his outing. Tong sports a 1.83 ERA and a Minor League-best 125 strikeouts across 78 2/3 innings. Gameday

Zach Cole, OF, Corpus Christi (HOU No. 19)
Cole has turned on the power over the last week, culminating with homers in both ends of Double-A Corpus Christi's doubleheader, giving him four roundtrippers in his past four games. The 24-year-old Ball State product entered play on June 29 with six jacks in 151 at-bats but has left the yard six times in his past 24 ABs. Cole has an .866 OPS and has already surpassed his home run total (11) from a year ago in 29 fewer games. Game 1 | Game 2

Khristian Curtis, RHP, Greensboro (PIT No. 24)
Curtis carried the baton through the first six innings of High-A Greensboro's eventual perfect game, striking out a career-high 10 in the process. The 23-year-old tossed 85 pitches (55 strikes) and ended his start by K'ing five of the last six batters he faced, including the side in the sixth. Curtis has yielded two or fewer runs in six of his past seven starts and has fanned 73 in 61 1/3 innings this season. Full story | Gameday
