The Minnesota Twins announced Friday that they have returned right-handed pitcher from his rehab assignment and have reinstated him from the 60-day Injured List.

López, who was placed on the 15-day Injured List on June 4 with a grade 2 strain of the teres major muscle in his right shoulder, recently made three starts on rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul, going 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA (11.1 IP, 4 ER), two walks and 14 strikeouts. Prior to sustaining the injury, he went 5-3 with a 2.82 ERA (60.2 IP, 19 ER), 14 walks, 61 strikeouts and a .225 (51-for-227) opponent batting average in 11 starts for the Twins this season. López is scheduled to start tonight against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.

To make room on the 28-man roster, the Twins have outrighted right-handed pitcher Noah Davis. Davis was recalled by the Twins on Monday and made two relief appearances during his most recent stint, allowing five runs (4 ER) on six hits, with no walks and three strikeouts in 2.0 innings pitched.
