Guards rally in 10th as Enright picks up 1st save

NEW YORK -- The Guardians saw a five-run lead evaporate in the eighth inning, but they regrouped and defeated the Mets, 7-6, in 10 innings at Citi Field on Monday night.

With the score tied at 5, the Guardians rallied against Mets right-hander Ryan Helsley. With runners on first and second and no outs, hit a ground ball to third baseman Brett Baty, who threw the ball wide of shortstop Francisco Lindor at second base for an error. That allowed Daniel Schneemann to score the go-ahead run.

Two batters later, Gabriel Arias added to the lead with a sacrifice fly.

Reliever allowed an unearned run in the bottom of the 10th, but he ended up picking up his first career save in his 19th big league game.
