The unique caps worn on the field at Minor League games represent the spirit, tradition and creativity of every club. With such an incredible selection of awesome hats -- from the Amarillo Sod Poodles to the Rocket City Trash Pandas to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers -- it’s difficult to pick just one that stands head and shoulders above the rest.
But for a three-week stretch, fans are challenged to do just that in New Era Clash of the Caps -- by voting for their favorite Minor League caps with the chance to win great prizes in the process, including a grand prize of $1,000 to spend at NewEraCap.com. Running now until June 1, the home caps from all 120 full-season Minor League clubs are up against one another in three rounds of voting to determine which fits the bill as the overall fan favorite.
The first round will decide winners from each full-season league, with the International League split by division into two separate voting campaigns. The next round, beginning May 19, will consist of four separate ballots to determine a Triple-A, Double-A, High-A and Single-A champion. Finally, the four remaining caps will go bill-to-bill to decide the first-ever New Era Clash of the Caps champion.
Anyone who votes in the competition can enter for a chance to win prizes that include $1,000 and $500 in NewEraCap.com gift codes, a New Era Cap Collectors Prize Pack and 2025 MLB.TV Premium subscription.
Additional prizing includes a complete set of New Era 5950 caps from one MiLB team, while all voters can receive a 25 percent discount code to NewEraCap.com at the conclusion of the final round.
Fans can register to vote at milb.com/clashofthecaps and let their voice be heard.
