- Eugenio Suárez (AZ)
- Matt Chapman (SF)
To help you vote, MLB.com has selected a few players from the above list to dig deeper on (NOTE: Both Corey Seager and Yordan Alvarez are currently on the IL, but are expected to return by early June.)
Aaron Judge (NYY)
Obviously, few players can hope to match Judge in terms of raw power. MLB’s home run king in two of the last three seasons is second in the American League with 18 dingers in 2025. But more than a quarter of the way through the season he’s still hitting .395, so his home run production is almost incidental -- he's the best hitter around, period, he just happens to also have superhuman strength.
As if the deck wasn’t already stacked in his favor, the Yankees’ June schedule should also be extremely friendly to Judge’s home run total -- they have 16 home games on the calendar and their two brief road trips will take them through Fenway Park in Boston and Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
Kyle Schwarber (PHI)
Schwarber is second in the National League with 18 home runs, which is pretty much business as usual. He's known for his towering blasts for a reason -- he's a dead pull hitter and few in baseball can claim bat speed as impressive (his 76.7 mph average is fifth-highest among qualifying hitters), so when he gets ahold of one, he really gets ahold of it.
For a home run race, Schwarber is a particularly safe pair of hands because he only has one speed -- in fact, he’s one of just six players since 1901 to hit at least 10 home runs with a sub-.200 batting average in a calendar month. Slumping or not, the power stroke never really goes away.
Cal Raleigh (SEA)
Home runs come in many forms, but they all start with a fly ball, and Raleigh, who has an AL-leading 19 dingers, is something of an expert in that area. Over 70% of his batted balls are hit in the air, and that plus the thump in his bat makes him a real threat. He’s also already led baseball in home runs over a month this year -- he, along with Judge and Eugenio Suárez, was one of three players who hit 10 home runs across March and April.
T-Mobile Park is famously hostile to power hitters, even those who, like Raleigh, are accustomed to the way it plays, but the Mariners will also be out of town for most of the month and will meet up with two of baseball's most homer-prone pitching staffs in the Angels and D-backs.
eBaseball™: MLB Pro Spirit features all 30 MLB teams, their home stadiums, as well as active MLB players, including KONAMI baseball game ambassador Shohei Ohtani.
