Altuve exits game with hamstring tightness

HOUSTON – left the Astros’ game against the Reds on Saturday night with tightness in his right hamstring.

Altuve, who started at second base and drew a walk in the first inning, was lifted for pinch-hitter Brendan Rodgers in the third. The Astros were trailing 12-1 at the time, having surrendered 10 runs in the first, but they scored six runs in the third to make it a 12-7 game.

Rodgers remained in the game at second base.
