Phanatic helps U.S. Navy Chief make surprise military homecoming
In case you missed it … this was an emotional family reunion that took place at Saturday’s Phillies game against the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park!
Angelina Plesnarski was given the great news that she and her children, Adeline, Reid and Reese won the chance to dance with the Phillie Phanatic at Saturday’s game against the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park. As the family practiced their dance moves on-field during the 5th inning, the Phillie Phanatic made his big entrance … with Angelina’s husband, U.S. Navy Chief Navy Operations Specialist Chief Ray Plesnarski, who has been deployed for the second time as a reservist in Bahrain, on the back of his four-wheeler!
It was an emotional family reunion for all, with help from the sold-out crowd, which gave the Plesnarski’s a standing ovation.
Chief Plesnarski, who was born in Pottsville, PA, is serving in the Maritime Operations Center as the Leading Chief Petty Officer of Naval Cooperation and Guidance for Shipping.
