Dodgers Recall J.P. Feyereisen

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen and designated right-handed pitcher Yoendrys Gómez for assignment.

Feyereisen, 32, was claimed on Thursday from Arizona. He made two appearances for the Diamondbacks before getting designated for assignment on April 27, tossing two innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out two. This is his second stint with the Dodgers organization after recording an 0-1 mark with an 8.18 ERA in 10 games last season. He is in his fifth Major League season overall, having spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers (2020-21), Tampa Bay Rays (2021-22), Dodgers (2024) and Diamondbacks (2025) and has a 3.07 ERA in 95 games. The Wisconsin native was drafted in 2014 by the Cleveland Guardians in the 16th round out of Wisconsin-Stevens Point University.

Gómez, 25, allowed three runs on three hits last night. He made three appearances for Los Angeles, allowing seven runs in 4.1 innings. He pitched in six games for the Yankees prior to joining Los Angeles, going 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA and five strikeouts in 10.0 innings. In seven minor league seasons, he is 12-17 with a 3.49 ERA in 101 games. He was signed by the Yankees on July 2, 2016, from Nirgua, Venezuela.
