BALTIMORE -- Throughout the 2025 season, has been among the few Orioles players to remain healthy. The 29-year-old right-hander is not included in the group of 28 Baltimore players who have spent time on the injured list.

The O’s are hopeful that will continue to be the case.

Kremer experienced right forearm discomfort during the O’s series opening, 2-1 walk-off win vs. the Dodgers at Camden Yards on Friday night, prompting his removal after only three innings. Kremer winced during the top of the third, shortly after delivering a pitch to Mookie Betts.

However, interim manager Tony Mansolino doesn’t believe the injury to be too serious.

“He thinks it’s mild. So we’ll get imaging tomorrow, we’ll have more answers tomorrow as to what it is,” Mansolino said. “But the level of concern at the moment, after the evaluation with the medical team, was pretty low.”

Facing the team that selected him in the 14th round of the 2016 MLB Draft -- and then traded him to Baltimore in the Manny Machado deal in July 2018 -- Kremer tossed three scoreless innings against Los Angeles on 56 pitches (38 strikes). He did not allow a hit while issuing one walk and striking out four, lowering his ERA to 4.43.

Kremer has been a stalwart in the Orioles’ rotation this season, as he leads the club with 158 1/3 innings -- 14 1/3 shy of the career-high 172 2/3 he threw in 2023. The six-year MLB veteran has a 1.26 WHIP with 132 strikeouts in 2025.
