The penultimate weekend of June has come and gone, and in the Minor Leagues that means first-half clinchings were on the line and big performances were just as important as ever. Sunday featured no shortage of those across the Minors, and as the weather continued heating up, the bats led the way once again. But a trio of Red Sox prospects proved at Double-A that there was still some fine pitching to be had en route to a no-hitter.
Jhostynxon Garcia, OF, Worcester (BOS No. 5)
"The Password" was certainly unlocked. Garcia homered in consecutive innings, cranking a two-run homer and then a three-run shot as part of a monster day at the dish for Triple-A Worcester. It was the first career multihomer game for Garcia, who has hit five of his 11 homers this month. He's also batting a robust .311 with a .992 OPS on the year. Gameday

Max Clark, OF, West Michigan (DET No. 1/MLB No. 7)
It had been a month since Clark homered at High-A. He launched his first big fly of June and fifth of the year on a two-hit afternoon with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored for West Michigan. While the 20-year-old has grinded through a tough stretch, he's still been productive this season, posting a ..809 OPS with 11 steals, 38 runs and 39 RBIs, the latter figure tied for seventh-most in the Midwest League. Gameday
Carson Williams, SS, Durham (TB No. 1/MLB No. 20)
It wouldn't feel like a series finale without a Williams home run. The infielder belted a homer on a fourth straight Sunday, his 11th long ball for Triple-A Durham. Williams also collected a pair of singles to continue an impressive June in which he’s slashing .313/.413/.609 after a sluggish first two months of the season. Gameday
Kevin McGonigle, SS, West Michigan (DET No. 2/MLB No. 22)
There is locked in, and then there is McGonigle. The High-A Whitecaps' lineup is clicking with McGonigle and Clark hitting back-to-back, especially since the start of McGonigle's nine-game hitting streak. McGonigle's game-tying two-run homer was his 16th knock over that stretch and his fifth dinger of the season. The 20-year-old is hitting .398 with a 1.207 OPS for West Michigan overall. Gameday
Josue De Paula, OF, Great Lakes (LAD No. 2/MLB No. 29)
De Paula did a little bit of everything out of the No. 2 spot in the Loons' lineup. His big swing resulted in a three-run homer as one of his two hits. He also walked, scored twice and stole three bases in a dynamic effort. Through 66 games back at High-A this season, De Paula's numbers flash at that do-it-all potential: .424 OBP, .887 OPS, 10 homers, more walks (58) than strikeouts (51) and 22 steals. Gameday
Lazaro Montes, OF, Everett (SEA No. 2/MLB No. 32)
The AquaSox cleanup hitter doesn't miss a lot of fastballs. Montes continued to punish High-A pitching, blasting his Northwest League-leading 18th homer and his fourth big fly in four games. In fact, the circuit's top three home run hitters are all AquaSox, led by Montes, who also tops the circuit in RBIs (50), slugging (.572) and OPS (.959). Gameday
Franyerber Montilla, 2B, Lakeland (DET No. 11)
The 20-year-old infielder set a career high with four hits, one of which was a two-run homer, and drove in three runs in an all-around performance for Single-A Lakeland. He's hit safely in 11 of 15 games this month and six straight, during which he's batting a white-hot .429 (12-for-28). Montilla also has 15 extra-base hits and 22 steals on the year, hinting at his power-and-speed tool set. Gameday
David Sandlin, RHP, Portland (BOS No. 9)
The right-hander set the tone in the Double-A Sea Dogs' three-pitcher no-hitter, carrying the load over six innings during the 18th no-hitter in the Minors this season. Sandlin tied a season high with nine strikeouts and walked three, throwing 59 of 94 pitches for strikes. Righties Christopher Troye and Jonathan Brand combined to record the final nine outs and preserve the no-no. Gameday
Marco Raya, RHP, St. Paul (MIN No. 6)
The 22-year-old righty posted his strongest start of the season for Triple-A St. Paul, firing five scoreless innings over which he struck out eight. Raya scattered three hits and one walk, throwing an efficient 51 of his 76 pitches for strikes in a locked-in performance. He's logged scoreless outings in two of his past three starts after beginning the month with a seven-run clunker, and he's compiled 52 strikeouts across 40 1/3 innings this season. Gameday
