New Era Clash of the Caps -- in which fan voting will select one winner from the 120 unique and creative home caps of Minor League Baseball teams -- is rounding first base.
Winners from each full-season Minor League were crowned in last week's opening round. Now, fans will determine a winning cap from each of the four levels of the Minor League development system in Round 2, which runs from now until Friday, May 23.
With standouts like the Texas League champion Amarillo Sod Poodles and the Carolina League champion Kannapolis Cannon Ballers garnering momentum in Round 1, competition will be tight with a narrower field -- 12 winners out of 120 entrants -- throughout the second round. By voting for their favorite Minor League caps, fans also get the chance to win great prizes, including a grand prize of $1,000 to spend at NewEraCap.com. Next week, the final round voting will determine which cap fits the bill as the overall fan favorite.
The first round winners hailed from each full-season league, with the International League split by division into two separate voting campaigns. Here's a full list:

The second round consists of four separate ballots to determine a Triple-A, Double-A, High-A and Single-A champion. Finally, the four remaining caps will go bill-to-bill to decide the first-ever New Era Clash of the Caps champion.
