Steve Tseng enters his second season with the San Francisco Giants as Senior Vice President of Partnerships. In this role, he oversees the club’s Partnership Department, managing all aspects of corporate partnership sales, activation planning and execution, and overall business strategy.
Prior to joining the Giants, Steve served as Executive Vice President of Sales at the Pac-12 Conference, where he led revenue efforts across linear advertising, corporate partnerships, digital media, branded content, and assets tied to 17 conference championships—including marquee sports like football and men’s basketball. He led a team of 12 and was a key member of the Pac-12 Leadership Team.
For much of his career, Steve was Senior Vice President at Endeavor (formerly WME | IMG), where he led the San Francisco office and managed the global Visa account—Endeavor’s largest corporate client. His work included overseeing a team of 36 professionals across key international markets including SF, NY, LA, Paris, Moscow, São Paulo, Dubai, and Singapore. Under his leadership, separate teams delivered award-winning sponsorship programs for the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, and the NFL.
Steve also served as Chief Global Sales and Partnership Officer for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), based in St. Petersburg, Florida. There, he directed a global sales and activation team, signing new sponsors and managing relationships with existing partners.
He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of industry leaders and frequently guest lectures at institutions including Stanford GSB, CAL, Penn, Oregon, Washington University in St. Louis, USF, and SMC.
Steve serves on the Advisory Boards of Scrum Ventures, SMA, and Campus Ink. In 2021, he was recognized as one of the Top 50 Diverse Leaders in Sports by the Racial Justice Institute.
He attended UC Santa Barbara as a Liberal Studies major with concentrations in Math, Economics, and Anthropology. Steve lives in Moraga, California, with his wife Maia, their three children (Nicole, Andrew, and Natalie), and their Havenese, Cali. Outside of work, he cherishes family time, fishing, running, pickleball, cornhole and exploring national parks
