Stephen Revetria leads the strategy and vision of Giants Enterprises. He is responsible for developing new ventures complimentary to this MLB franchise and raising the profile of Oracle Park. Now in his 26th season, Revetria creates unique ballpark venues and expansive fan engagement programming that leverage the organization’s proficiency and stellar bayside locale. He also directs curation of larger-than-life experiences for millions of guests, while establishing dynamic revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
Revetria played an integral role in the development of Giants Enterprises — the first dedicated events management team among MLB venues — and its unparalleled programming, including the 2013 Official Spectator Experience for the 34th America’s Cup. Under his leadership, Giants Enterprises received international recognition for its execution of three World Series (2010, 2012, 2014) celebrations and related civic events, including, the Official World Series Galas and downtown ticker-tape parades.
A Bay Area native and graduate of the University of San Francisco, Revetria is a trustee to numerous boards, including the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. As a Trustee Emerita to USF, Revetria assisted the university in shaping the direction of its highly respected Business Administration and Hospitality Management programs and development of the Pat Gallagher Fellowship, a year-long Giants’ internship annually awarded to a USF Sports Management Masters student.
In 2024, Revetria was appointed as Commissioner by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve on the board of Visit California -- a California Office of Tourism initiative that promotes the state as a premier travel destination. Since 2022, he also serves on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Physical Fitness and Mental Well-Being.
In 2016, Revetria attended the inaugural Sport at the Service of Humanity Conference at the Vatican, convened by Pope Francis. This invite-only conference summoned global leaders from the sectors of sport, spirituality and business to develop strategy for this multi-denominational movement which fosters societal connection through the power of sport and the values of faith.
For more than thirty years, Revetria remains a leader in the meetings and events industry — including as former Chairman of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), during which he co-chaired (2003, 2015, 2022) MPI’s World Education Congress (WEC). Through his extensive experience in planning, advising and fundraising for civic initiatives, Revetria has forged invaluable partnerships on the local, national and international fronts to further the mission of Giants Enterprises — and the city of San Francisco — as a premier destination for events, meetings and travel.
Revetria’s leadership and service has garnered numerous recognition, including the Wender Weis Foundation for Children’s Community Philanthropy Award (2020); the Hotel Council of San Francisco Peter Goldman Award of Excellence (2016) and the International Live Events Association Esprit Award (2015) for the WEC Opening Night Celebration.
In 2025, Revetria was honored by MPI with its prestigious Industry Leader Award, presented in June during the World Education Congress in Saint Louis, Missouri.
He is also the recipient of the inaugural Jim Griffith Memorial Award (May 2025) from The Guardsmen, which honored Revetria’s leadership in supporting the non-profit’s educational, physical fitness and mental wellness opportunities to under-resourced youth. In 2021, Catholic Charities presented its highest honor, the Faith in Action Award, recognizing Revetria’s long-standing devotion to community and support of the the organization’s sports, educational and parish CYO programs in the Diocese of San Francisco.
Revetria lives in San Francisco with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children.
