Magic will be in the air on Tuesday night, when the Giants will host Harry Potter Night during their matchup against the Cubs at Oracle Park.

Ahead of the spellbinding event, we asked right-hander Tristan Beck to play Sorting Hat and decide which of the four Hogwarts houses his Giants teammates would fit into.

For non-magical folks -- also known as Muggles -- here’s a quick primer. Gryffindors are known for their courage and daring; Slytherins are defined by their cunning and ambition; Ravenclaws prize intelligence and wisdom; and Hufflepuffs value loyalty and hard work.

Beck, for his part, identifies as a Gryffindor. Let’s break down the rest of his selections:

Logan Webb
“I could see Webby being a Gryffindor also.”

Willy Adames
“I don’t want to be disrespectful. Obviously, everybody wants to be in Gryffindor. I could see Willy being a Ravenclaw. I feel like that’s kind of up his alley a little bit.”

Matt Chapman
“Chappy is definitely a Gryffindor, hate to say it.”

Casey Schmitt
“Definitely a Slytherin. He’s a little bit counterculture. I think he’s pretty squarely a Slytherin.”

Jung Hoo Lee
“I’m going to throw him into Hufflepuff and round it out a little bit. You need somebody in all four. I think Jung Hoo, obviously, has a little bit of his own kind of swag about him. I think he’d fit over there.”

Patrick Bailey
“I could see Patty being a Slytherin, as well. He’s marching to his own drum a little bit.”

Heliot Ramos
“I’m going to put him in Slytherin, too. I like those three over there. I like them together.”

Robbie Ray
“Gryffindor. Maybe the captain of Gryffindor.”

Rafael Devers
“I’m going to throw him with Willy, I think, in Ravenclaw. I don’t really know why. I think they would have a good time together.”

Ryan Walker
“Definitely a Hufflepuff. He’s kind of a weird dude.”

Randy Rodríguez
“I’m going to put him in Gryffindor, too. He’s got that main character, great guy kind of thing about him.”

Spencer Bivens
“Definitely a Hufflepuff.”
