Bonnie Clark joined the Phillies in 2008 as vice president, communications. In 2024, she expanded her role to include oversight of community initiatives and Phillies Charities, Inc.
In this role, Bonnie’s day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the club. This includes business publicity campaigns, managing player, alumni and executive media relations, as well as leading crisis and issues management. She also directs the team’s community efforts, including charity programs, youth baseball and softball, education initiatives, and the work of Phillies Charities, Inc.
Prior to the Phillies, Bonnie spent nine years (1999-2008) at multi-media retailer QVC, culminating in her role as vice president of public relations. During her tenure, she created public relations and media relations strategies that increased awareness and enhanced the company’s image. She also spearheaded all crisis and issues management efforts.
Before QVC, Bonnie worked at Tierney in Philadelphia, where she served as associate vice president for the agency’s consumer public relations division, developing and implementing communications initiatives for consumer clients. She also held various positions of increasing responsibility with Golin/Harris Communications in Philadelphia and at the agencies M. Silver Associates and Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations in New York, where she developed and implemented public relations campaigns for international consumer brands.
Bonnie serves as an assembly member for Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.
A graduate of Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA, where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013, Bonnie earned her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University’s Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism.
Bonnie resides in Cherry Hill, NJ, and has three adult children, Kyle (Laura), Troy and Jenna.
