Cecelia Perez is a Bay Area artist whose work is rooted in Chicano culture, custom cars, strong women, and community. As founder of Hey Ruca, she collaborates with major teams and brands to honor tradition while pushing culture forward across mediums.

Now in its second season, the Giants’ Artist Series continues as a retail collection that celebrates the intersection of sports, art, and Bay Area culture. Following last year’s launch with renowned local artist Jeremy Fish, whose ties to the Giants included Skate Day and the first-ever artist residency at Oracle Park, the program builds on that momentum with a new lineup of cultural voices.
The 2025 series feature original artwork from Cecelia Perez, paying tribute to Chicano culture; graffiti artist Akeem Raheem, bringing bold street-inspired energy; and Dr. Akilah Cadet, honoring Giants greats who rose from the Negro Leagues to the Major Leagues. Each collection captures the spirit of the Giants through a distinct cultural lens, with designs releasing throughout the season.

Artist Design
Akeemraheem is a Bay Area native graffiti artist with ties to Detroit Michigan. He transformed from spray paint graffiti-art on walls to graffiti-inspired art on canvas. Akeem is very vocal about the irony and humor he sees in life, and advises you to laugh at life too. This is graffiti art that you normally see on walls and trains on a take-home canvas.

Dr. Akilah Cadet is the Founder & CEO of the firm Change Cadet, is a Forbes listed entrepreneur, creative & author of White Supremacy is All Around: Notes From a Black Disabled Woman in a White World. She lives & works in Oakland, CA advocating for continued representation from business to art.
