How does autorenewal work?
Every online purchaser of the membership is automatically opted into autorenewal. Autorenewal gives you the chance to remain a Buddies members year after year* without having to re-signup!
*Members age out if they’re 13 years old by January 1st of the newest year.
Are those who purchase in-stadium eligible for autorenewal?
No, those who purchase in-person are not eligible for autorenewal. Autorenewal only applies to those who purchased online.
When does billing for autorenewal take place?
Members can look to be billed in mid-late November.
Can I change my autorenewal purchase from pick-up to shipping or vice versa?
If looking to change the delivery method of your autorenewal, you will need to opt out and re-purchase the membership when it goes live to the public.
What if I want to opt out of autorenewal?
Emails including the option to opt of autorenewal begin going out to members in October through November. With the click of a button, members will have the option to opt out of autorenewal. Please note that there is always a deadline to opt out and we will not be able to fulfill any requests for members who choose to opt out after the deadline.
What if I want to only opt out one member from autorenewal and keep the others as a member?
If you have multiple Buddies members under one billing email, opting out one member will automatically opt out all other members. This is because MLB can legally only bill you for what you initially signed up for.
Do I need to do anything if my member ages out?
No, no action is required on your end. However, if you have multiple Buddies members under one billing email, one member aging out will automatically opt out all other members. This is because MLB can legally only bill you for what you initially signed up for.
