SABATHIA’S COOPERSTOWN PLAQUE TO BE ON DISPLAY FOR FANS DURING THE GAME IN THE NEW YORK YANKEES MUSEUM PRESENTED BY BANK OF AMERICA
Guests planning to attend the New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays game tomorrow (Sunday, September 7) at 1:35 p.m. at Yankee Stadium are advised to arrive early to enjoy CC Sabathia Hall of Fame Induction Tribute Day. The Yankees will celebrate Sabathia’s career and enshrinement into Cooperstown, which took place earlier this year on July 27. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. Gates will open to fans at 12:00 p.m. Guests are advised to be in their seats for the celebration by 12:45 p.m.
As part of the ceremony, Sabathia’s Cooperstown plaque, where the left-hander is depicted in a Yankees cap, will be displayed on the field prior to first pitch and available for fans to view up close from the start of the game through the end of the fifth inning in the New York Yankees Museum presented by Bank of America, which is located on the 200 Level of Yankee Stadium near Section 210.
Additionally, Sabathia will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, and the first 40,000 guests in attendance will receive a replica CC Sabathia Hall of Fame plaque courtesy of WFAN.
