RED SOX OPTION RIGHT-HANDED PITCHER ISAIAH CAMPBELL TO TRIPLE-A WORCESTER
BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Isaiah Campbell to Triple-A Worcester following last night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Campbell, 28, has recorded a 7.04 ERA (6 ER/7.2 IP) in six games for Boston. The right-hander has also made 34 appearances for Triple-A Worcester this season, earning seven saves while posting a 4.17 ERA (21 ER/45.1 IP) with 41 strikeouts. Originally selected by the Seattle Mariners in the second round of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft, the Portugal native owns a 5.65 ERA (27 ER/43.0 IP) in 41 career Major League games with the Mariners (2023) and Red Sox (2024-25).
