Rays return to George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa for a four-team, thirteen-game homestand

The Tampa Bay Rays return to Steinbrenner Field on Tuesday for a four-team, thirteen-game homestand against the Los Angeles Angels (April 8-10), Atlanta Braves (April 11-13), Boston Red Sox (April 14-16) and New York Yankees (April 17-20). The Rays 2025 season is presented by Orlando Health.

Tuesday, April 8 vs. Los Angeles Angels

• Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays recognize a child from Make-A-Wish Southern Florida or the Children’s Dream Fund as part of the Tuesday’s Champion program presented by RIPA. The Rays will host 8-year-old Tripp from the Children’s Dream Fund. As part of Tripp’s special day as Tuesday’s Champion, he will meet Rays players and throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Tripp was diagnosed with cancer and dreams of seeing snow. He loves playing baseball, fishing, hunting and riding his horse, Dollar. His favorite Rays player is Brandon Lowe.

• Kids Take the Field: In partnership with Nike, nine players from Belmont Heights Little League will be recognized for exemplifying the nine core values of Jackie Robinson and will join Rays players on the field for the national anthem. Robinson’s nine values include: courage, determination, teamwork, persistence, integrity, citizenship, justice, commitment and excellence.
• Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays recognize a child from Make-A-Wish Southern Florida or the Children’s Dream Fund as part of the Tuesday’s Champion program presented by RIPA. The Rays will host 6-year-old Ameir from Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. As part of Ameir’s special day as Tuesday’s Champion, he will meet Rays players and throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Ameir was diagnosed with heart disease, but loves playing football, baseball, video games and gardening. His favorite Rays player is Yandy Díaz.
• Jackie Robinson Day: The Rays will commemorate the 78th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier in 1947. The Rays will also recognize their 2025 Jackie Robinson Grant recipients with an in-game check presentation. The Jackie Robinson Grant is awarded to organizations who reflect Jackie Robinson’s nine core values: courage, determination, teamwork, persistence, integrity, citizenship, justice, commitment and excellence. Each of the five recipients will receive $20,000 from the Rays Baseball Foundation and Rowdies Soccer Fund. In addition, the Rays will host students from the Poynter Write Field Program, a writing and mentoring program for African American and Hispanic young men from middle and high schools in Pinellas County.
• In-Game Presentation: The Rays will present a video recap of The Players Alliance baseball clinic held for Belmont Heights Little League on April 13.
• Salute: The Rays will recognize Luis Rosario, a Medical Assistant at Orlando Health who has worked in the healthcare industry for six years.

• On Sunday, April 13, the Tampa Bay Rays will partner with The Players Alliance and Belmont Heights Little League to host a free Community Catch Baseball Clinic open to the public at Belmont Heights Little League (2101 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33603) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Players Alliance is a nonprofit organization founded by current and former professional baseball players, aiming to address systemic barriers to equity and inclusion in baseball by creating opportunities for Black talent on and off the field. • 50/50 Charity Raffle: Support our community from Steinbrenner Field or online at home while watching the game. With the Early Bird Special, fans receive twice the number of tickets for donations made before first pitch. For example, prior to first pitch, fans can get 10 tickets for $10, 40 tickets for $20, 400 tickets for $50 and 998 tickets for $100. New this year, fans who enter during the Early Bird Special on the first game of a homestand are entered for a chance to win the jackpot and an autographed item from a Rays player. • Stolen Bases presented by Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital: For each base stolen by Rays players this season, the organization will donate $250 to the Orlando Health Foundation – West Region. During the four years of this initiative so far, the Rays have donated more than $100,000 to the Orlando Health Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises crucial funds to sustain and enhance patient care services in our community.
• TD SYNNEX: With the first Rays double play of each home game, TD SYNNEX will donate $250 to Girls Inc., a local nonprofit organization that supports and encourages girls to be "Strong, Smart and Bold" through direct service and advocacy. TD SYNNEX is committed to supporting initiatives around the world that enhance the communities where it has a presence and focus on its pillars of children, wellness and the digital divide.
• Webull: Webull, the Official Online Brokerage of the Rays, will support communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton by contributing to various Rays-affiliated relief organizations. This includes special promotions, where fans can download, open and fund their Webull accounts through a dedicated webpage. Webull will match a percentage of those deposits, donating the proceeds to support hurricane relief efforts.
