Pirates Announce 2026 Regular Season Schedule
The Pittsburgh Pirates today released the 2026 regular season schedule.
The Pirates will open the 2026 campaign in New York with a three-game series against the Mets from March 26-29. The first road trip will conclude with three games in Cincinnati against the Reds from March 30-April 1.
It will mark the first time Pittsburgh faces the Mets on Opening Day since 2002. It will also be the earliest the Pirates have ever started a season.
The Pirates will return to Pittsburgh to face the Baltimore Orioles for three games from April 3-5, marking their second Home Opener against the Orioles in the last three seasons. The first homestand will conclude with a three-game series against the San Diego Padres from April 6-8.
Other highlights of the 2026 regular season schedule include:
May 12-17: A six-game homestand against the Colorado Rockies and Philadelphia Phillies.
May 25-31: A seven-game homestand against the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins.
June 9-14: A six-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins.
August 14-19: A six-game homestand against the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers.
September 15-24: A season-long, nine-game (10-day) homestand against the Milwaukee Brewers,
Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals.
September 25-27: A three-game series in Detroit against the Tigers to conclude the regular season.
