MLB Play Ball Weekend! What’s Happening at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Blue Jays, June 13-15

The homestand concludes with a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, June 13-15. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights taking place during MLB Play Ball Weekend, featuring several community events hosted by the Phillies to celebrate kids and families playing baseball and softball!

  1. The series kicks off with the Phillies wearing their City Connect uniforms for another Lights Up // Friday Night at the Bank during the 6:45 p.m. game. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 4:45 p.m.; all other gates 5:15 p.m.

    • Before the game, the Phillies will honor their May Employees of the Month on-field.
    • Prior to the first pitch, Miller Lite 12 oz. cans will be available at Miller Lite Liberty Landing for $6.99.
    • Travel advisory: Fans leaving the game should be aware that there will be lane closures from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on several I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) eastbound and westbound ramps, including those to U.S. 1 (City Avenue), Girard Avenue, Montgomery Drive and Spring Garden Street.   2. Before the 4:05 p.m. game on Saturday, June 14, children 14 and under will receive a Toyota Kyle Schwarber Card Show Bobble. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 1:35 p.m.; all other gates 2:35 p.m.

    • Before the game, the team will host a sold-out Strike Out the Stigma session presented by GHOST® focused on the topic of The Importance of Healthy Family Relationships with special guests including Phillies General Manager Preston Mattingly and his father Don Mattingly, bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.
    • In celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States Army, Lt. Col. Amelia Schulz, who acts as the liaison from the Army to the N.J. National Guard, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
    • Fans can enjoy the pregame Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
    • At the end of the 3rd inning, 100-year-old WWII veteran Frank Stellar will be honored on-field as that day’s Hometown Hero presented by Toyota.
  3. It’s Chevrolet Father’s Appreciation Day on Sunday, June 15 at 1:35 p.m.! Men 15 and over will receive Men’s Board Shorts. Gate openings: 3B/LF – 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 12:05 p.m.

    • Fans can enjoy complimentary face painting at The Yard before and during the game.
  4. Bid on nearly two dozen team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia items during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction benefiting Philabundance, part of the Phans Feeding Families initiative, on com/auctions until June 30.

    • Auction items include baseballs, jerseys, broken bats, postseason caps and more signed by manager Rob Thomson and players such as Aaron Nola, Nick Castellanos, Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto, Cristopher Sánchez, Kyle Schwarber, Bryson Stott, Trea Turner and Zack Wheeler.
  5. Phase One of voting for the 2025 Pro Spirit MLB All-Star Ballot has begun! Vote for Phillies players at com/vote until June 26 to send them to the All-Star Game in Atlanta.
