Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer returns to Downtown Phoenix on Sunday September 28
READY, SET, GO register for the Diamondbacks 12th annual Race Against Cancer 5K presented by Dignity Health Cancer Institute on Sunday, September 28. The annual race, which supports cancer research and patient care, starts and ends at Chase Field with hundreds of fellow D-backs fans and community members running or walking Downtown Phoenix to close out the D-backs regular season.
Race registration, open now, is $50 through September 19 and $60 after September 19. All participants will receive a commemorative race shirt, drawstring bag, finisher medal, chip timing for the race and a ticket voucher for a D-backs game against the Giants from September 15-17, 2025 (the voucher is available to those who register before September 15). Proceeds from the D-backs Race Against Cancer will benefit programs and non-profits that provide screening, treatment and support for maintaining support systems for patients and their families.
Individuals and businesses can create teams to fundraise and be eligible to win prizes including tickets, autographed baseballs and unique experiences. The overall top female and male finisher of the race will win the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at an Arizona Diamondbacks’ 2026 regular season game at Chase Field.
There will be no race-day registration - all in-person participants must register by 5:00 p.m. on September 27. For more information and to register, visit dbacks.com/race.
