At a time when most catchers are slowing down, Joe Mack (Marlins) is in the midst of a power surge. Joining the backstop in the long ball department was Konnor Griffin (Pirates) and Brice Matthews (Astros), who put together his first grand performance as a pro. There was no shortage of elite pitching as Andrew Painter (Phillies) and Trey Yesavage (Blue Jays) led the way on the mound.
Joe Mack, C, Jacksonville (MIA No. 3/MLB No. 72)
Another day, another roundtripper for Mack, who reached the 20-homer plateau with a walk-off jack in the 10th inning for Triple-A Jacksonville. It was the fourth consecutive game the 22-year-old has gone deep and his 17th since joining the Jumbo Shrimp earlier in the season. Mack currently owns a career-high .810 OPS between two Minor League levels in 2025. Gameday

Konnor Griffin, SS/OF, Altoona (PIT No. 1/MLB No. 1)
Griffin's memorable rookie season neared another milestone following his four-RBI night for Double-A Altoona. The 19-year-old not only slugged his 21st homer to highlight a three-hit night, but he's only six RBIs shy of the century mark with four regular-season games remaining. Griffin has hit safely in 14 of 17 games since joining the Curve and is slashing .333/.418/.535 with 48 extra-base hits, 114 runs scored and 65 stolen bases in 118 games across three Minor League levels. Andrew Painter, RHP, Lehigh Valley (PHI No. 1/MLB No. 10)
It's been a summer of inconsistency at Triple-A for Painter, who had surrendered five or more runs in four of his past six starts. However, the 22-year-old was on point in his latest outing, racking up six strikeouts across five scoreless frames for Lehigh Valley. Painter did not walk anyone for the first time in eight starts and retired 10 of the last 11 batters he faced to complete his first scoreless outing since June 15. Gameday

Trey Yesavge, RHP, Buffalo (TOR No. 1/MLB No. 25)
In what could potentially be his final outing of the season, Yesavage looked the part of a future ace. The 22-year-old twirled three perfect frames and struck out four while tossing 34 pitches (28 strikes). Yesavage generated nine whiffs on 22 swings and has 160 punchouts in 98 innings across four Minor League levels during his debut season. Gameday

Brice Matthews, 2B, Sugar Land (HOU No. 1/MLB No. 93)
Matthews snapped out of a 3-for-25 start to September by hammering his first professional grand slam in the second game of a doubleheader. The 23-year-old added an RBI single to cap a five-RBI performance, equaling a professional high he achieved in the Majors with the Astros on July 21. Matthews' 14 jacks for Triple-A Sugar Land are one shy of the career best he slugged last season. Gameday

Brody Hopkins, RHP, Montgomery (TB No. 3)
Hopkins has quietly put together one of the more impressive pitching campaigns in the Minors this season after another scoreless outing. The South Carolina native allowed one hit and three baserunners with eight strikeouts over six innings, the fourth time in his past six starts he has not surrendered a run. Hopkins lowered his ERA to 2.72 in 25 starts for Double-A Montgomery and 1.38 over his past 13 appearances. Gameday

George Klassen, RHP, Rocket City (LAA No. 3)
Klassen's uneven season has been on an upward trajectory for much of the past five weeks. The 23-year-old completed seven innings for the first time in 46 pro starts, allowing an unearned run and striking out eight, including the final three batters he faced. Klassen has surrendered two or fewer runs in five of his past six starts for Double-A Rocket City while racking up 38 punchouts across 28 1/3 frames in that span. Gameday

Ben Hess, RHP, Somerset (NYY No. 6)
Hess' final regular-season start produced more of the same from last year's 26th overall Draft pick. The Alabama product allowed one run and fanned six across six frames during his seventh start for Double-A Somerset. Hess has put together a strong debut season, holding opponents to a .177 average while posting a 3.22 ERA and striking out 139 in 103 1/3 innings over 22 starts across two Minor League levels.
