It was a busy Saturday around the Minors and there was no shortage of notable performances from some of the best prospects in the game. Jonah Tong's fourth double-digit strikeout outing of 2025 enabled him to become the first Minor Leaguer to surpass 100 K's, while dual-handed pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje bounced back with a strong effort of his own. Meanwhile, a pair of teenagers ran wild in Single-A, combining for seven stolen bases.
Sal Stewart, 3B/2B, Chattanooga (CIN No. 3/MLB No. 64)
Well on his way to his best season as a pro, Stewart added a "first" to his ledger, homering twice and driving in three runs during Double-A Chattanooga's doubleheader opener. The Miami native also singled to account for his ninth game of three or more hits this season. Stewart has hit four of his seven long balls in June and is just six shy of eclipsing the career-high 12 he slugged in 2023. Gameday

The cousin of former NL MVP Ken Caminiti twirled four scoreless innings and racked up six strikeouts during his 73-pitch outing. The switch-pitcher allowed three hits and did not walk a batter for the first time this season. Cijntje entered his latest start having surrendered five runs over five frames in his past two starts. The 22-year-old has 54 K's in 48 1/3 innings and is holding opponents to a .181 average in 14 appearances (11 starts). Gameday

Jonah Tong, RHP, Binghamton (NYM No. 4/MLB No. 94)
Tong delivered another masterpiece in what is becoming a routine for the Ontario, Canada, native. The 22-year-old became the first Minor Leaguer to pass the 100-strikeout mark after fanning 11 over a career-high 7 2/3 scoreless innings. Tong issued only a walk to lead off the bottom of the first and a pair of singles during his 97-pitch outing. The Mets' seventh-round pick in the 2022 Draft lowered his ERA to 1.75, his WHIP to 0.91 and pushed his MiLB-best K total to 107 in 67 innings. Gameday
