Here are Tuesday's top prospect performances from the Minors

The final days of July baseball kicked off with plenty of action around the Minor League landscape. Walker Jenkins (NYY), JJ Wetherholt (STL) and Jhostynxon Garcia (BOS) came through with big-time performances to power a deep Top 100 prospect contingent. On the mound, Hurston Waldrep (ATL) wrapped up a sterling month with a scoreless outing.

Jhostynxon Garcia, OF, Worcester (BOS No. 2/MLB No. 89)
Garcia came up with another big performance, homering and equaling his career high with five RBIs to power Triple-A Worcester. The 22-year-old also doubled and fell a triple shy of the cycle, extending his hitting streak to six games. Garcia has been a consistent offensive force since his promotion to Triple-A, posting a .916 OPS with 12 homers and 36 RBIs in 49 games. Gameday

Walker Jenkins, OF, Wichita (MIN No. 1/MLB No. 12)
Jenkins snapped out of a 1-for-15 skid in a big way, slugging his third Double-A homer and falling a triple shy of the cycle. The 20-year-old went more than two months between appearances for Wichita due to a left ankle sprain and started off slowly but has picked it up in July. Jenkins has gone deep twice and driven in 12 runs with a .841 OPS in 20 games this month. Gameday

JJ Wetherholt, SS/2B, Memphis (STL No. 1/MLB No. 16)
Wetherholt's recent power surge continued with his seventh homer in 13 games -- including four leadoff jacks -- during a three-RBI night for Triple-A Memphis. The West Virginia product left the yard on the second pitch of the game and tacked on two more RBIs with a single and a sacrifice fly. Wetherholt has hit safely in 14 of 17 games this month and sports a 1.172 OPS in his first 12 games at Triple-A. Gameday

Zyhir Hope, OF, Great Lakes (LAD No. 2/MLB No. 30)
Hope spearheaded his club's offense yet again, homering for the second consecutive game and falling a triple shy of the cycle. The Virginia native is slashing .290/.392/.629 with five homers, 16 RBIs and 10 walks in 17 games this month, reaching safely in all but one contest. Hope has an .894 OPS for the season and leads High-A Great Lakes in a number of offensive categories, including homers (12) and RBIs (62). Gameday

Carson Benge, OF, Binghamton (NYM No. 4/MLB No. 68)
Benge has been on a tear since his promotion to Double-A, and he continued the onslaught with his third long ball in two games. He reached base three times in five plate appearances and collected his third multihit effort in four contests. Benge has already hit more homers (six) in 22 games for Binghamton than he did in 60 appearances (four) for High-A Brooklyn. The Oklahoma State product is slashing .357/.465/.619 with 10 extra-base hits and 16 RBIs for the Rumble Ponies. Gameday

Joe Mack, C, Jacksonville (MIA No. 3/MLB No. 83)
Mack added another strong performance to what has been a productive campaign for the lefty-swinging catcher. Mack crushed his 12th homer on a three-hit night and drove in two runs to help power Triple-A Jacksonville's lineup. The 22-year-old has rebounded from a subpar June with a strong .897 OPS this month. Gameday

Hurston Waldrep, RHP, Gwinnett (ATL No. 4)
Waldrep closed out a terrific month with his best performance of the season. The 23-year-old struck out eight over a season-high seven scoreless innings for Triple-A Gwinnett. The outing put an exclamation point on July, during which Waldrep surrendered just two earned runs across four starts (23 innings) to bring his ERA down to 4.42, its lowest point since his first start of 2025. Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz, RHP, Somerset (NYY No. 6)
Rodriguez-Cruz was in total control in his latest outing for Double-A Somerset. The native of Puerto Rico allowed two hits and struck out five over six shutout innings, his second scoreless start this month. Rodriguez-Cruz has been one of the best pitchers in the Minors since June 1, posting a 1.32 ERA and a 0.82 WHIP with 57 punchouts across 54 2/3 innings. Gameday
