A no-hitter, a seven-inning complete game and continued excellence from Top 100 prospects highlighted another busy day of Minor League action. Alex McFarlane helped High-A Jersey Shore make history while extending his own unhittable streak and Lazaro Montes continued to feast on Double-A pitching. Not to be outdone, Carter Jensen added another homer to his ledger, giving him four in his first 10 days at Triple-A.
Lazaro Montes, OF, Arkansas (SEA No. 2/MLB No. 29)
Montes tripled for the second consecutive game and collected his first three-hit game since his June 24 promotion to Double-A. The 20-year-old has hit safely in six of his eight games for Arkansas, slashing .333/.462/.800 with six extra-base hits, three homers and eight RBIs. Combined with his sizzling start for High-A Everett, Montes sports a .991 OPS, 21 roundtrippers and 58 RBIs in 75 games this season. Gameday

Ryan Sloan, RHP, Modesto (SEA No. 9/MLB No. 83)
Sloan was on point yet again for Single-A Modesto and the result was his third consecutive scoreless start and first professional win. The Illinois native struck out six while surrendering just a pair of singles and a walk over five innings, matching the career high he tossed on June 18. Sloan's 15-inning scoreless streak began with the final frame of his June 11 outing and has lowered his ERA from 5.30 to 3.73. Gameday
