Injury: Right wrist discomfort
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Imaging showed “nothing really definitive,” per manager Clayton McCullough, who added the club is “holding out hope” that Edwards will “turn the corner” in the next couple of days. (updated: Sept. 18)
OF Griffin Conine
Injury: Left shoulder surgery
IL date: April 20 (60-day IL)
Expected return: September
Status: Began rehab assignment with Triple-A Jacksonville on Sept. 7. Could return the week of Sept. 22, per manager Clayton McCullough. (updated: Sept. 18)
RHP Edward Cabrera
Injury: Right elbow sprain
IL date: Sept. 1 (15-day IL, retroactive to Aug. 31)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Threw three innings (about 50 pitches) in simulated game on Sept. 17, touching 97 mph with his fastball. The club is hopeful he will make another MLB start this season. (updated: Sept. 17) More >>

Injury: Left ankle sprain

Status: Began rehab assignment on Sept. 14 with Triple-A Jacksonville, tossing one scoreless inning on 10 pitches. (updated: Sept. 14)

Injury: Grade 1 left oblique strain/right oblique strain

Status: Came out to pitch on Sept. 9, but after throwing one warmup toss, left the game. Able to play catch on Sept. 10. (updated: Sept. 10)

Injury: Right hamstring strain
IL date: Sept. 5 (10-day IL, retroactive to Sept. 2)
Expected return: 2026

RHP Jesus Tinoco
Injury: Right forearm strain
IL date: June 6 (retroactive to June 3, transferred to 60-day IL on July 16)
Expected return: 2027
Status: Continuing rehab. Underwent right elbow UCL hybrid reconstruction with associated flexor tendon repair on Sept. 3 as performed by Dr. Keith Meister. Estimated return is 13-14 months. (updated: Sept. 8)
RHP Tyler Zuber
Injury: Right lat strain
IL date: Aug. 30 (transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 1)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Continuing treatment. Told the team he was hurting after allowing seven runs in one inning against the Mets on Aug. 29. (updated: Sept. 8)
RHP Ryan Gusto
Injury: Right shoulder impingement
IL date: Aug. 31 (15-day IL, retroactive to Aug. 28)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Continuing with treatment and rehab. Last pitched on Aug. 27 against the Braves and was hit hard, allowing nine runs in 3 2/3 innings. (updated: Sept. 8)
LHP Andrew Nardi
Injury: Lower back inflammation
IL date: March 15 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Continuing rehab. Had started a throwing program on June 16. Received injection after seeing a doctor on April 30 in Los Angeles. (updated: Sept. 8)
RHP Max Meyer
Injury: Left hip impingement
IL date: June 3 (transferred to 60-day IL on July 1)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Continuing rehab after undergoing successful season-ending hip surgery on June 27. Was feeling the discomfort for a few starts, but it didn't limit him until his June 2 outing. (updated: Sept. 8) More >>

Injury: UCL revision surgery
IL date: Feb. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Continuing throwing program, which began on June 16. Will miss 2025 following successful surgery on Dec. 16, 2024, to repair a left elbow UCL revision with an internal brace. (updated: Sept. 8)
