The hottest team in baseball has surged into contention based on the latest sports betting odds at the BetMGM online sportsbook.
The Milwaukee Brewers (76-44), who are currently on a 12-game win streak following Wednesday’s 12-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, now have the third-best odds to win the World Series and National League pennant at BetMGM. This comes after Milwaukee won 11 in a row five weeks ago, posting a 27-4 clip over the past 31 games.
Since July 1, the Brewers’ odds of winning the World Series have gone from +4000 to +850. They were as long as 150/1 to win it all on June 1. At their current odds, they have an implied probability of 10.53% to win their first World Series in franchise history.
Milwaukee is one of three teams listed better than 10/1, trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers (+310) and Philadelphia Phillies (+600). If the season ended today, Milwaukee would be the No. 1 seed in the NL over both teams.

As for the NL pennant market, the Brewers’ +400 price tag gives them an implied probability of 20%. They still trail the Dodgers (+190) and Phillies (+333) in that market, though they have soared up the board over the summer after being 50/1 on June 1 and 22/1 on July 1.
Milwaukee, which hasn’t won a playoff series since 2018, earned its only other pennant in 1982.
From a sports betting perspective, the Brewers haven’t garnered as much interest in the market. They have received 3.5% of all World Series bets and 4.4% of the handle at BetMGM, trailing at least seven teams in both aspects. Milwaukee has received the fifth-most handle (11.3%) to win the NL.
However, those aren’t the only notable sports betting moves related to the Brewers at BetMGM.
Milwaukee is now an overwhelming -800 favorite to win the NL Central after entering the year with a +275 value. The Brewers were as long as 11/1 in early June, but are now 88.89% to win their fourth division crown in five years.

Left fielder Isaac Collins has also emerged as the sports betting favorite in the latest MLB Rookie of the Year odds. He’s a -120 favorite over Atlanta Braves catcher Drake Baldwin, giving him an implied probability of 54.55%.
The Brewers will carry their 12-game win streak into a road series against the Cincinnati Reds. First pitch of the opener is set for 5:40 p.m. CT at the Great American Ball Park.
