MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned right-handed pitcher Pablo López from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 15-day Injured List.

López has missed the Twins’ last 14 games with a right hamstring strain. He made one rehab start with Triple-A St. Paul on April 19 at Iowa, allowing one run on three hits (1 HR), with no walks and four strikeouts. Prior to going on the Injured List, the 29-year-old went 1-1 with a 1.62 ERA (16.2 IP, 3 ER), two walks and 14 strikeouts in three starts for the Twins. He is scheduled to start tonight against the Los Angeles Angels at Target Field. López takes the 26-man roster spot vacated by right-handed pitcher David Festa, who was optioned after his start on Wednesday night against the Chicago White Sox.
