Steinbrenner Field Accessibility Guide

The Tampa Bay Rays are excited to offer information and resources for fans to ensure all visits to Steinbrenner Field are safe, welcoming, and inclusive!

A

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

ADA Accessibility & ADA Drop-Off

ADA guests who are dropped off in the ADA drop-off lane in the Steinbrenner Field lot can wait for the rest of their party at the Gate 2 plaza. Once the driver parks in the Crown Automotive General Parking Lot, they can cross the pedestrian bridge and take the ADA accessible ramp down to Gate 2 to meet with their party. ADA guests can take the elevator at Gate 2 to gain access to the stadium. ADA pickups in the Premium Lot will be allowed at the end of the game.

ADA Rideshare Drop-Off

ADA guests using rideshare to get to the stadium are encouraged to drop off in the drop-off lane in the premium Parking lot. ADA rideshare drop-off will also have a designated drop-off point in the rideshare lane at the base of the ramp leading up the bridge.

AUNT FLOW

Complimentary Aunt Flow period products are available for all fans at the dispenser located next to Guest Services in the main concourse by section 110.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

Steinbrenner Field is committed to accommodating fans with dietary needs and food allergies.

Outside Food & Beverage Policy:

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of:

  • One sealed bottle of water (20 oz or less) per ticketed guest.
  • Empty plastic reusable water bottles (up to 44 oz) are allowed and can be refilled at designated stations throughout the stadium.

ELEVATORS

Located at The Bay Republic Team Store, Gate 2, First and Third Base Webullpen Clubs, Left Field, and Center Field.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

In the event of an emergency evacuation, stadium staff, video boards, and public address announcements will provide clear instructions to help all fans exit the stadium safely and efficiently. We ask that you remain calm and follow the guidance of staff members at all times.

ENTRY & PROHIBITED ITEMS

Gates

Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch for all Rays home games. All gates are wheelchair accessible.

New at Steinbrenner Field: The Evolv Express security screening system uses sensor technology to detect security concerns. Fans can head through the system at a normal pace, carrying their phones and clear bags without stopping.

Prohibited Items

The Tampa Bay Rays are committed to enabling a safe and fun ballpark experience. All of the items listed below are prohibited from Steinbrenner Field:

  • Bags that are not transparent or do not comply with the CLEAR BAG POLICY
  • Hard-sided coolers, boxes, or cases of any size
  • Umbrellas or anything else that could obstruct the view of other fans
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Outside food or drinks, except for one sealed bottle of water (20 ounces or less) per ticketed fan
  • Empty reusable water bottles up to 44 ounces are permitted inside the stadium. They must be made of plastic, not stainless steel, metal, ceramic, glass or other materials. Water bottle refill stations are located throughout the stadium.
  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives or chemical sprays larger than .6 ounce
  • Fireworks or other explosives
  • Items that could be projectiles
  • Cameras with lenses longer than 12”
  • Bullhorns, percussion instruments, air horns, whistles and other excessively loud noisemakers. (The long tradition of small cowbells being allowed at Rays games will continue)
  • Drones
  • Radio-controlled devices
  • Lasers
  • Audio speakers
  • Bats
  • Brooms over 36" long
  • Wrapped packages
  • Footwear with wheels
  • Clothing or signs with obscene or derogatory language or gestures
  • Pets, except service animals
  • Any item deemed to pose risk to the health or safety of others or cannot be thoroughly screened and cleared by security

Prohibited items will not be stored. If you have any of these items with you, they may be returned to your vehicle or discarded.

FIRST AID

First Aid, presented by Orlando Health, can be found on the 100 Level closest to Sections 111/ 112. The clinic is staffed by Tampa Fire/Rescue Medical Team. If you need immediate assistance, please notify any staff member.

GUEST SERVICES

The Guest Services Booth, presented by Visit St. Pete Clearwater, is located on the main concourse by section 110. Stop by to pick up a birthday or first game button, check out a sensory bag, sign up for the Budweiser Designated Driver Program, inquire about lost or found items, or get help with anything else you may need. R

RADIO BROADCASTS

Rays Radio broadcasts all 162 games on 95.3 WDAE / AM 620, the MLB app, SiriusXM and streaming for free on iHeart Radio. Rays Radio can be heard in Spanish for all 162 games on WQBN 106.7 FM / 1300 AM in Tampa Bay and the MLB app.

RESTROOMS/GENDER NEUTRAL RESTROOMS

All restrooms are ADA accessible and most feature baby changing areas. Steinbrenner Field has all gender, men’s, and women’s restrooms throughout the ballpark.

SENSORY SERVICES

Sensory Bags

Sensory bags are available at Guest Services to support fans who may experience sensory overload and enhance overall comfort during their visit. Bags are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be checked out by providing a valid photo ID. The sensory bags are equipped with items specifically chosen to help reduce sensory overload and enhance the comfort of fans, and include the following items:

  • Weighted Blanket
  • Noise-Cancelling Headphones
  • Cue Card Set
  • Sunglasses
  • Sand Hourglass
  • Fidget Cube, Fidget Spinner, and Fidget Tangle
  • Coloring Book with Crayons

Sensory Precautions

Please be advised that fireworks will be used during every 4:10 p.m. first pitch or later Rays home game at the following times: During the National Anthem, after every Rays home run, and following every Rays win. In addition to fireworks, guests may experience other in-park effects, including loud noises, bright lighting, and visual effects throughout the game.

SERVICE ANIMAL

Service animals trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities are welcome at Steinbrenner Field. If a fan requires access to a service animal relief area, they can contact any staff member who would be happy to assist.

SUNSCREEN KIOSKS

Complimentary sunscreen kiosks, sponsored by Orlando Health, are conveniently located at Gate 1, behind home plate in section 112 by First Aid, and near the third base foul pole.

TEXTING

Keep Steinbrenner Field fan-friendly! Please contact the nearest Fan Host staff member if, for any reason, another guest is interfering with your enjoyment of the game. You may also text 727-594-0860 with your issue and location for assistance.

TICKET INFORMATION

Accessible and companion seating is available throughout Steinbrenner Field at a variety of price levels. Guests should indicate their need for accessible and/or companion seating when purchasing tickets to ensure appropriate accommodations. WATER FOUNTAINS

Water fountains are available throughout Steinbrenner Field along the 100-level concourse.

WHEELCHAIR SERVICES

Wheelchair Transport Services

Our wheelchair escort service, Rolling Rays, is not available for the 2025 season. Wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids are welcomed at Steinbrenner Field and can be stored at section 110 in the concourse if they cannot be stored safely under the fan’s seat.

Wheelchair, Stroller, and Walker Parking

Wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, and other mobility devices are welcomed at Steinbrenner Field. These devices will need to be parked at section 110 in the concourse if they cannot be stored safely under the fan's seat.
