No team in baseball does bacon quite like the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliates of the Phillies. The IronPigs have nicknamed their stadium "Bacon, U.S.A." The team has bacon-themed alternate jerseys and, earlier this season, they ran a bacon promotion at Bacon, U.S.A. where it featured seven bacon-related menu items including a pork parfait. Yes, a pork parfait.
Now, they've added baseball's bacon-iest catcher, former Royal/Blue Jay/Phillie/Pirate Erik Kratz.

The last time Kratz was with the Phillies, he filmed a series of local commercials that will forever be a part of the city's baseball lore. Like John Kruk's eating habits and Jimmy Rollins' rap career, Kratz's performances in these short spots will be talked about by Phillies fans for generations and generations:
Now, baseball's foremost expert on alternative bacons will be wearing a hat with bacon bacon on it.
