Injury: Left knee soreness
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Removed in the fourth inning on Aug. 2 as a precaution, after an issue with his surgically repaired left meniscus flared up during his second-inning at-bat. (updated: Aug. 2)
OF Jackson Chourio
Injury: Right hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 1 (10-day, retroactive to July 30)
Expected return: Late August at earliest

1B Rhys Hoskins
Injury: Grade 2 left thumb sprain
IL date: July 7 (10-day, retroactive to July 6)
Expected return: September
Status: Previously pegged for a mid- to late-August return, the Brewers are now aiming for Hoskins to begin a rehab assignment in late August. (updated: July 29)
LHP Rob Zastryzny
Injury: Ribs stress reaction
IL date: July 1 (retroactive to June 27)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Had a setback and was returned from rehab assignment. Scheduled to throw a bullpen session on July 30 and potentially resume rehab after that. (updated: July 29)
LHP Robert Gasser
Injury: Tommy John surgery
IL date: Feb. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Late August
Status: Threw 16 of 22 pitches for strikes in two scoreless innings of a rehab start for High-A Wisconsin on July 29. Gasser didn't walk a batter and struck out four in his second start for the Timber Rattlers. (updated: July 29)
1B/OF Jake Bauers
Injury: Left shoulder impingement
IL date: July 20 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Mid-August
Status: Underwent a cortisone injection during the All-Star break but still wasn't feeling comfortable as of a July 22 update. (updated: July 22)
LHP Connor Thomas
Injury: Left elbow
IL date: April 8 (retroactive to April 6; transferred to 60-day IL on May 18)
Expected return: Early- to mid-2026
Status: Underwent left elbow surgery surgery with Dr. Keith Meister on July 16 to remove bone spurs and complete a UCL repair with internal brace. (updated: July 22)
RHP Carlos Rodriguez
Injury: Right forearm strain
IL date: May 31 (Triple-A IL)
Expected return: August
Status: Made two rehab starts in the Arizona Complex League on July 12 and 17 and was scheduled for five innings for Triple-A Nashville on July 23. (updated: July 22)
OF Garrett Mitchell
Injury: Left oblique, left shoulder
IL date: April 26 (15-day, shifted to 60-day on July 6)
Expected return: 2026
