Injury: Right teres major strain

Expected return: May

Injury: Right elbow surgery
IL date: March 24; transferred to 60-day IL on May 1
Expected return: Second half of season
Status: Had offseason surgery to put two screws in his elbow to stabilize olecranon fracture. Rehabbing in Kansas City, but hasn't progressed and is not throwing yet. (updated: May 1)
LHP Cole Ragans
Injury: Left groin strain
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Exited Game 1 of April 24 doubleheader (three innings, 62 pitches). Skipped April 30 start, but will throw bullpen session Friday in Baltimore to determine availability for next start. (updated: April 30) More >>
RHP Kyle Wright
Injury: Right shoulder surgery/hamstring strain
IL date: March 24 (15-day IL)
Expected return: End of May
Status: Missed 2024 season (right shoulder surgery) before suffering hamstring strain on Feb 18. Scheduled to begin rehab assignment on May 2 in Double-A. (updated: April 30)
OF Dairon Blanco
Injury: Right Achilles tendinopathy
IL date: March 31 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Late April
Status: Received PRP injection on April 4 after Achilles flared up March 30. Began rehab assignment April 29 in Triple-A Omaha and has a maximum of 20 days before needing to be activated. (updated: April 29)

Injury: Broken right hamate bone
Expected return: April
