The weekend kicked off in style around the Minors, with a pair of milestones at Double-A. Tink Hence returned to regular action by leading the way during a nine-inning no-no, while Hendry Mendez took a spin on the cycle thanks to a late-game double. In between, there were plenty of other noteworthy performances, highlighted by a four-hit game from Spencer Jones and a perfect seven innings from first-year pro Andres Galan.
Carter Jensen, C, Northwest Arkansas (KC No. 3/MLB No. 82)
Jensen's torrid stretch of hitting, which goes back more than a month, continued with another multihit effort. The lefty-swinging backstop clubbed his sixth roundtripper of the season, singled and reached base in three of his four plate appearances for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Jensen is batting .297 with a .367 OBP in 66 games and has been even hotter in June, slashing .373/.434/.552. Gameday
Brice Matthews, SS/3B, Sugar Land (HOU No. 1)
Matthews piled up three singles and a double for Triple-A Sugar Land, giving him hits in 10 of his past 11 games after a slow start to June. The 23-year-old is batting .413 with eight extra-base hits and 10 RBIs in that span, lifting his slash line for the season to .283/.400/.484. Gameday

Spencer Jones, OF, Somerset (NYY No. 2)
Jones punctuated his first four-hit game of the season with his 14th homer and third in five games for Double-A Somerset. The 6-foot-7, 240-pound slugger drove in two runs and fell a triple shy of the cycle while raising his OPS to .974. Jones has hit safely in seven of his past eight games, going 13-for-27 (.481) with four jacks and eight RBIs in that span. Gameday
Tink Hence, RHP, Springfield (STL No. 3)
Hence made his first start for Double-A Springfield and proved to be the club's good luck charm. The 22-year-old struck out eight over 4 1/3 innings to anchor the Cardinals' nine-inning no-hitter. Hence opened the game by striking out the side and closed his outing with three consecutive punchouts. The Arkansas native missed the first seven weeks of the year with a right rib cage strain. Robert Hassell III, OF, Rochester (WSH No. 11)
Playing in his third game for Triple-A Rochester since returning from a three-week stint in the Majors, Hassell was a one-man wrecking crew, homering twice and collecting four hits. The 23-year-old also doubled, walked and drove in a season-high four runs. Despite struggling during his first go-around as a big leaguer, Hassell is in the midst of the best season of his pro career, slashing .311/.361/.463 with 29 RBIs in 46 games for the Red Wings. Hendry Mendez, OF, Reading (PHI No. 25)
Mendez became the latest Minor Leaguer to hit for the cycle, delivering a two-run double in his final at-bat to clinch the milestone. The 21-year-old added a stolen base to his ledger while driving in three runs and scoring three times. Mendez's big night snapped a 2-for-16 skid and helped bump his average back up to .295 and his OPS to .827 in 59 games for Double-A Reading. Gameday
Andres Galan, RHP, Charleston (TB, Unranked)
Already off to a fine start in his first professional season, Galan took things to another level in his fifth appearance and fourth start for Single-A Charleston. The 21-year-old retired all 21 batters he faced and struck out five on 74 pitches (51 strikes). Galan, who sports a 1.86 ERA and an 0.90 WHIP for the RiverDogs, went to a three-ball count on just two batters. Gameday
