Cardinals Win and Concert Make for a Memorable Night at Busch Stadium
More than 35,000 fans filled Busch Stadium on Friday, June 20, as the St. Louis Cardinals earned a 6–1 win over the Cincinnati Reds. But the night was about more than a division matchup—it marked a new chapter in ballpark entertainment with the first-ever postgame concert held at Busch Stadium III.
The evening started strong in the Budweiser Terrace with the Friday Night Live pre-game party, where fans took advantage of five-dollar hot dogs and beers. The atmosphere was upbeat as fans enjoyed live music, warm weather, and time with friends ahead of the game and the entertainment still to come.
Following the Cardinals' fourth straight win, all eyes turned to the infield stage behind second base. Multi-platinum country artist Cole Swindell performed a full set that included crowd favorites like "Ain't Worth the Whiskey," "Middle of a Memory," and his award-winning hit "She Had Me At Heads Carolina." Over 1,000 VIP guests watched from the infield dirt, enjoying a close-up view of the historic show.
Earlier in the night, Swindell met with Cardinals VIPs and fans during a series of meet and greets, adding a personal touch to the event. His time both on and off the stage helped make the night a standout moment of the season.
