Injury: Right hamstring strain
IL date: Aug. 1 (10-day, retroactive to July 30)
Expected return: Late August/early September
Status: Completing baserunning, hitting and defensive work with no complaints, per the Brewers' medical report. Plan is to begin a rehab assignment on Aug. 22. (updated: Aug. 19)
1B Rhys Hoskins
Injury: Grade 2 left thumb sprain
IL date: July 7 (10-day, retroactive to July 6)
Expected return: Early September
Status: Was sent to Triple-A Nashville on Aug. 19 to begin a rehab assignment. The length of the assignment is to be determined, as is Hoskins' role once he's healthy. (updated: Aug. 19)
LHP Rob Zastryzny
Injury: Ribs stress reaction
IL date: July 1 (15-day, retroactive to June 27)
Expected return: Mid- to late-August
Status: Pitched in back-to-back games on rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Aug. 13 and 14. Scheduled to pitch again on Aug. 19. (updated: Aug. 19)
LHP Robert Gasser
Injury: Tommy John surgery
IL date: Feb. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Late August
Status: Scheduled to make next rehab appearance on Aug. 19. Brewers officials are discussing whether to continue building him up as a starter or move him to relief for a potential postseason role. (updated: Aug. 19)
RHP Logan Henderson
Injury: Right flexor tendon strain
IL date: Aug. 8 (15-day, retroactive to Aug. 4)
Expected return: Late September/early October
Status: Met with head physician Dr. William Raasch, who confirmed the flexor tendon strain, on Aug. 13. (updated: Aug. 19)
LHP DL Hall
Injury: Right oblique strain
IL date: Aug. 16 (15-day)
Expected return: Mid-September
Status: Hurt himself while throwing 2 2/3 innings of relief on Aug. 15. An MRI scan showed a borderline Grade 1/Grade 2 strain, he said. (updated: Aug. 18)
1B/OF Jake Bauers
Injury: Left shoulder impingement
IL date: July 20 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Mid-August
Status: Began a rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Aug. 14 and has been getting reps at first base, left field and designated hitter. (updated: Aug. 15)
LHP Connor Thomas
Injury: Left elbow
IL date: April 8 (retroactive to April 6; transferred to 60-day IL on May 18)
Expected return: Early- to mid-2026
Status: Underwent left elbow surgery surgery with Dr. Keith Meister on July 16 to remove bone spurs and complete a UCL repair with internal brace. (updated: July 22)

Injury: Left oblique, left shoulder
IL date: April 26 (15-day, shifted to 60-day on July 6)
Expected return: 2026
