Injury: Left knee bone bruise
IL date: May 2 (10-day IL, retroactive to May 1)
Expected return: Possibly mid-May
Status: Trout jammed his knee trying to leg out a ground ball on April 30. He ultimately couldn't avoid a trip to the injured list but is optimistic it'll be a short stay. (updated May 2) More >>
3B Yoán Moncada
Injury: Right thumb sprain
IL date: April 10 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Early May
Status: Moncada aggravated an existing thumb injury during an at-bat on April 9. He's scheduled to start a rehab assignment on May 3. (updated May 2)
RHP Sam Bachman
Injury: Thoracic outlet syndrome
IL date: March 27 (15-day IL, retroactive to March 24)
Expected return: Possibly May
Status: Bachman doesn't need surgery and the hope is he won't need a stint on the 60-day IL. He's progressed to pitching in simulated games. (updated May 2)
RHP Robert Stephenson
Injury: Torn right ulnar collateral ligament
IL date: Feb. 15 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Possibly June/July
Status: Stephenson had Tommy John surgery with a brace inserted in his elbow on May 1, 2024, and has progressed to facing live hitters. (updated May 2)
3B Anthony Rendon
Injury: Left hip surgery
IL date: Feb. 15 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Possibly late 2025
Status: Rendon underwent left hip surgery after attempting to rehab in the offseason and is likely to miss the 2025 season. (updated Feb. 24)
