Injury: Right shoulder impingement
IL date: May 13 (transferred to 60-day IL on June 20)
Expected return: Late August
Status: Faced hitters for the second time on Aug. 2, throwing two simulated innings in Arizona, with his velocity in the mid-90s. Scheduled to throw three simulated innings in Los Angeles on Aug. 8. If all goes well, will begin rehab assignment after. (updated Aug. 4)
