Kids & Families at Busch Stadium
Bringing a kid to a Cardinals game? There's so much to do! Here's a quick rundown of some of our favorite kids and family activities and destinations!
Who Needs a Ticket?
Kids ages 3 and under do not required a ticket to enter, provided they sit on a lap. Please note, only kids with a game ticket are eligible to receive kids promo items at gate entry.
Come Early
Gates open 2 hours before game time on weekends, and 1 ½ hours before on Monday – Thursday games. Come early to make sure you don’t miss any of the fun around the stadium!
Kids Meal
Swing by the Family Pavilion at Section 107 Kid's Corner for a Kids Meal — a hot dog, drink, and your choice of chips or applesauce! Perfect for tiny taste buds and big game-day energy!
Finding Fredbird
You never know where you'll find everyone's favorite mascot…except now you do! Fredbird and Team Fredbird will be available for photos ops and fun in Ford Plaza EVERY GAME during the 1st and 2nd inning.
Team Fredbird T-Shirt Toss
Keep an eye on the top of the dugout…several times in between innings, Team Fredbird will be doing their famous T-Shirt Toss into the stands.
Build-A-Bear in Ford Plaza
Build a new furry friend at our exclusive Build-A-Bear location in Ford Plaza (Level 1 in the outfield, between Gates 5 & 6).
Hi-Chew Family Pavilion
We've got something for all ages at the Family Pavilion! (Located on Level 1, near Ford Plaza, between Gates 5 & 6)

Celebration Buttons
Celebrating a birthday at Busch? Kids' first game? We've got buttons to help you celebrate! Stop by Guest Relations to pick yours up! The Guest Relations Centers are located on Level 1, Section 148 behind Homeplate, Level 4 behind section 340 and Ford Plaza near the Sensory Room.
Sensory Room
Presented by Mercy
Accommodates guests that need a controlled and intentionally created space that provides multi-sensory resources to support an adult or child. Located in Ford Plaza near Gate 5.
Noise cancelling headphones are available to be used during the game. They can be picked up in the Sensory Room as well as Guest Relations on Level 1 and Level 4.
Photo Magic!
Scan the QR code on the scoreboard and you might see your photo as part of the scoreboard entertainment during the game!
Family Rooms
These rooms are located at Section 160 or 348, and the Family Pavilion. These rooms can accommodate nursing parents, families that need a quiet location, or an area to change a diaper.
Changing Table Stations
Baby changing tables are available in most Busch Stadium restrooms, family restrooms, and family rooms. Guests in need of an adult changing table should be directed to First Aid Level 1.
Family Sundays
Presented by Smithfield
On most Sunday games, fans who purchase Terrace and Pavilion level tickets will receive a free jumbo hot dog and Coca-Cola.
Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sundays
Every Sunday home game, enjoy games, prizes, and FREE frozen treats, in the Ford Plaza (Level 1 in the outfield, between Gates 5 & 6). From gates open, while supplies last!
Cardinals Kids Club
The Cardinals Kids Club is the official exclusive club for younger Cardinals fans and the coolest way to show your Cardinals pride and join the next generation of Cardinals fans. Don't miss out on exclusive Cardinals items, events throughout the season, and so much more! You can find the Kids Club team in the Hi-Chew Family Pavilion every game.
Self-Serve Cotton Candy Machines
Pick your design and watch the cotton candy be made before your eyes! Attention sugar lovers- larger than your typical cotton candy!
Located in the Hi-Chew Family Pavilion by the Arcade & Terrace level behind home plate (near El Birdos Nachos).
Hi-Chew Kids Run the Bases
On select Sundays, kids 15 and under can stick around after the game and run the bases!
2025 dates include: April 13, May 25, June 8, July 13, July 27 & September 7.

Take home a souvenir or treat yourself to exclusive Cardinals merchandise at the Team Store, located at the corner of 8th and Clark Street.
