Injury: Right shoulder rotator cuff tendinitis
IL date: June 19 (15-day IL, retroactive to June 16)
Expected return: July
Status: Felt discomfort in his right shoulder after his outing on June 11. An MRI on June 17 revealed the tendinitis in his rotator cuff. No timeline for his return at this point. (updated June 19)
2B Zack Gelof
Injury: Stress reaction in ribs
IL date: March 26 (transferred to 60-day IL on May 23)
Expected return: Late June
Status: Drew two walks in three plate appearances for Triple-A Las Vegas on June 17. Will play five innings at second base in his next rehab game for Las Vegas on June 19 (updated June 18)
LHP Ken Waldichuk
Injury: Left elbow sprain
IL date: March 27 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 26)
Expected return: July
Status: Set to begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Stockton on June 22. Will build up as a starter on a Spring Training-like progression. (updated June 18)
LHP Brady Basso
Injury: Left shoulder strain
IL date: March 24 (transferred to 60-day IL on April 7)
Expected return: June
Status: Manager Mark Kotsay revealed on June 18 that Basso was pulled off his rehab assignment and is being re-evaluated. (updated June 18)

Injury: Strained left oblique

Expected return: July

Injury: Left elbow lateral epicondylitis

Expected return: Late June
Status: Shut down from swinging for a few days, but manager Mark Kotsay said on June 17 that "it shouldn't be a long IL stint" for Brown. (updated June 17)
RHP Gunnar Hoglund
Injury: Right hip impingement

Expected return: 2026

Status: Suffered a Grade 2 right oblique strain on a swing June 1 in Toronto. Will be out "a couple weeks, if not longer," per A's director of sports medicine and rehabilitation Brian Schulman. (updated June 2) More >>

Injury: Right lat strain
IL date: April 23 (transferred to 60-day IL on April 30)
Expected return: Second half
Status: Playing catch three times a week, although the A's expect a "long recovery process" before he returns to action. (updated June 2)

Injury: Right elbow sprain

Expected return: Late 2025
Status: Throwing from 105 feet on June 2. Progressing well after Tommy John surgery in August 2024 but is still likely to miss all or most of this season. (updated June 2)
